Keep ShrinkWatch running
ShrinkWatch was switched off in September 2026. Not enough people were using it to justify the bill, so it was retired and the data was archived.
Then people emailed asking for it back, and offered to help pay for it. So it is back, and it stays for as long as it pays for itself.

What it actually costs
- Database hosting
- $25/month
- Web hosting
- included
- Domain
- ~$15/year
That is the whole bill. Nobody is paid for their time. ShrinkWatch is a side project, and membership covers running costs rather than wages.
Other ways to help
Money is not the only thing that keeps this useful. The site is only worth reading if the data is good, and the data comes from people noticing things in shops.
- Report a product that has shrunk. A photo of the label and the old size is enough.
- Tell us when we have it wrong. Sizes get corrected more often than you would think.
- Share a product page when it settles an argument.
