ShrinkWatch ("ShrinkWatch," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at shrinkwatch.app (the "Site"), a community-powered tracker of product shrinkflation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
No account or registration is required to use ShrinkWatch. You can browse the database and submit product reports without creating an account or providing your name.
Information We Collect
Because we do not require accounts, we collect only a limited amount of information:
- Publicly-submitted product reports. When you submit a report, we collect the information you provide — such as the product name, brand, old and new sizes, price, store, and an optional photo, plus any notes. This information is community-reported and is displayed publicly on the Site so that others can view and verify it. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your submissions.
- Server logs and IP address. Like most websites, our servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this data for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention (for example, to stop spam and automated submissions).

You may request access to, correction of, or removal of information associated with a report you submitted. Because submissions are public and community-reported, we may also remove content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates our Terms of Service.
